Korea Casino Trip: A 3-Day, 2-Night Sample Itinerary from Incheon Airport

This is an example of a 3-day, 2-night trip that starts and ends at Incheon International Airport and combines the main casinos in Incheon and Seoul. It was written for travelers flying in from Japan. It covers four casinos: Paradise City, INSPIRE Casino, Paradise Casino Walkerhill and Seven Luck Casino Gangnam COEX.

This is just one sample schedule, not a route we say you should follow. Your actual schedule will depend on your flights, traffic, hotel availability and casino operations.

The idea behind this sample itinerary

This sample itinerary follows the basic 3-day framework shown in the table below.

The plan does not assume you will visit all four casinos. It is built as an example in which you choose from the casinos in Incheon and in Seoul on each day.

Besides one casino in Incheon and one in Seoul, you could also visit only the two in Incheon or only the two in Seoul. Which casinos you visit will differ from traveler to traveler.

Day 1: Arrive at Incheon International Airport and head to the Incheon area

There are two casinos in the Incheon area: Paradise City and INSPIRE Casino. Paradise City is within 5 minutes by car from Incheon International Airport, and INSPIRE Casino is about 15 minutes by car from Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport (a free shuttle bus is available).

One possible flow is to go to your hotel, sort out your luggage and rest according to your own schedule after you arrive, and only then decide whether to visit a casino. This plan does not assume you head to a casino right after landing.

If you stay in Incheon

Hotel Paradise is inside the Paradise City complex, the same complex as the Paradise City casino.

INSPIRE Entertainment Resort is inside INSPIRE, the same complex as INSPIRE Casino.

Hotel Paradise and INSPIRE Entertainment Resort are both in the Incheon International Airport area. Which hotel you look at first depends on whether you plan to visit Paradise City, INSPIRE Casino, or both.

Day 2: Travel to Seoul

Day 2 is the day you travel from Incheon to Seoul. Travel time and costs depend on the transportation you use and on traffic that day, so please check the latest information.

There are three casinos in Seoul: Paradise Casino Walkerhill, Seven Luck Casino Gangnam COEX and Seven Luck Casino Seoul Dragon City. This article uses Paradise Casino Walkerhill and Seven Luck Casino Gangnam COEX as examples. Paradise Casino Walkerhill is in the Walkerhill area of Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, while Seven Luck Casino Gangnam COEX is in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, so they are in different parts of the city.

If you stay at Walkerhill

Grand Walkerhill Seoul has Paradise Casino Walkerhill inside the hotel.

Vista Walkerhill Seoul is a separate hotel in the same Walkerhill area as Grand Walkerhill Seoul. Paradise Casino Walkerhill is inside Grand Walkerhill Seoul, not inside Vista Walkerhill Seoul itself.

Whether you visit Walkerhill, Seven Luck Casino Gangnam COEX, or both depends on your plans for Day 2 and where you stay.

Day 3: Adjust your plans and head to Incheon Airport

Day 3 is the day to make sure you have enough time to get to Incheon International Airport for your flight home to Japan. Departure times differ from trip to trip, so this article does not give specific times.

Adjust how you use your time before departure to fit your itinerary and the time of your flight home. One approach is to plan the day with getting to your flight home as the top priority.

How long it takes to reach the airport depends on the transportation you use and on traffic that day. Check in advance how much time you need to get to the airport so that you do not miss your flight home.

You do not need to visit all four casinos in 3 days

This article introduces four casinos, but you do not need to visit all of them on a 3-day, 2-night trip. One approach is to choose casinos based on the areas you visit, the hotels you stay at and your overall travel schedule.

For example, you could visit just one casino in Incheon and spend more time there, or visit just one casino in Seoul and use the rest of your time for sightseeing.
