This image is an illustration, not a photo of an actual facility.
What a membership card is at Korea's foreigner-only casinos: why get one, how to apply, what to bring, how each casino differs, and what to keep in mind, based on each casino's official website.
At Korea's foreigner-only casinos, your age and nationality are checked against your passport every time you enter. Many of these casinos also offer a membership card.
This article explains what changes when you get a membership card, and where and with what documents you can apply, based on information from each casino's official website. It covers real, land-based casinos in Korea.
The information was checked on each casino's official website on September 29, 2026. Membership programs and benefits may change, so please check each casino's official information before your trip.
What changes when you get a membership card
According to the official Paradise Casino website, if you do not get a membership card on your first visit, you need to bring the documents required for entry every time you come back. The official INSPIRE Casino website also says that without a membership card you must bring the required documents each time you enter, and it encourages visitors to get one.
Membership cards also come with a points system. The FAQ on the official Paradise Casino website says that points are collected automatically when you show your membership card at a table (or insert it into a slot machine) while you play. Points are valid for one year from the last time you earned points.
Having a membership card does not mean you no longer need your passport. For example, the official Seven Luck Casino website says that both your passport and your membership card are required to exchange money. Keep your passport with you during your stay.
How to apply and what to bring, by casino
Every casino requires a passport for entry, so bring it when you sign up as a member too. The name of the service desk and of the membership program differs from casino to casino. The table below summarizes the differences, followed by a short section on each casino.

Things to keep in mind about membership cards

INSPIRE Casino also asks visitors to submit a newly issued document in place of an expired one.
- Membership tiers and benefits may change depending on how the casino is run and on your play history. This article does not cover specific benefits, so please check each casino's official website for the latest details.
- There is no need to spend more than you planned just to earn points or benefits. Keep the amount you spend at the casino within the limit you set before your trip.
Summary
A membership card saves you from showing documents every time you enter, and lets you collect points based on your play. You apply at a desk inside the casino with your passport. Even after you have a card, you will still need your passport in some situations, such as exchanging money or updating your documents.
Entry conditions, dress codes and the entry process are covered in A Guide for First-Time Visitors to Korean Casinos.
